July 31, 2017 Moon

July 31, 2017 Moon

This is the last moon for the month of July!

It was cloudy out ...

but that did not affect the pictures any.

This evening the neighbor kids were attempting to fly a kite.

It was fun watching them run with it.

I remember the fun of kite flying!

Doug and I have not done that in a couple of years.

This year we should go kite shopping and see what we can do.

There will also be a moon video on the Facebook page by the same name ...

Luna Delight.

Thank you for stopping by the blog.

We are so glad that you did.

July 30, 2017 Moon and A Poem by Christina Rossetti (1830-1894)

Welcome!
Here is today's moon.

Took some daytime shots today.
We sure hope that you enjoy them.

The energy and beauty of the moon is amazing.
Everyone should go out at night and gaze upon the moon and the stars.

Count some satellites as they go by!
Doug and I love to do that!

Here's a Poem for you ...
From Sing-Song by Christina Rossetti (1830-1894)

Is the moon tired? she looks so pale
Within her misty veil:

She scales the sky from east to west,
And takes no rest.

Before the coming of the night
The moon shows papery white;

Before the dawning of the day
She fades away.

July 29, 2017 Moon

Greetings!

It always amazes me how much the moon can change in one night.
So beautiful!
And always changing!

Again tonight ...
I used two different filters.

Here is the first round ...

And now for round two ...

Hope that you enjoyed the pictures.
We sure enjoy taking them to share.

We hope they have blessed you as much as they have blessed us!

Until next time!

July 28, 2017 Moon

July 28, 2017 Moon

I took moon pictures today while it was still daylight out.
I used two different filters and was amazed at how different the pictures turned out.
Wow!

The first pictures were taken with the camera on the automatic setting.
The last pictures were taken with the camera on the moon setting.
Amazing difference!

These are the automatic setting.

When I zoom in the blue sky is gone.

These are the moon setting.

This setting kept the blue sky even when zoomed in all the way.

We've had a great day today.
Ended it with a motorcycle ride under the moon.

We hope that our pictures bless you
as much as they have blessed us.

Thank you for stopping by the blog.
Please come again.

July 27, 2017 Moon

On the way home this evening
we could see the moon looking down upon us.

When we got home I ran out with the camera and took some pictures.

It is much bigger than the sliver that it was the night.

We had a full day today and it was nice to end the evening with the moon.

I always find moon gazing to be so relaxing.

Our hope in sharing these pictures with you is that they will bless you as much as they bless us.

Our world is truly amazing!

Get out and enjoy it!

July 16, 2017 4:35am Moon

It's a cloudy night
which always makes for pretty and interesting moon pictures!

Doug was awoken by Dooley,
one of our sweet dogs,
who needed to go out to potty.

Doug grabbed the camera and also took some moon pictures.

Look at the blue tint in the sky and clouds.
So pretty!

We sure hope that you enjoy our pictures
and that they bless you as much as they bless us.

I am just always struck by the beauty of the moon.
Every single time.

May you be blessed with everything you stand in need of.
May your dreams come true!

Blessings my friends!

Thank you for stopping by the blog.
Until next time!

Saturday July 8, 2017 Moon

Beautiful moon and beautiful sky tonight.

I took this pictures at about 11:00pm this evening.

It wasn't quite up over our trees so I had to walk a ways to be able to get the shot.

The energy felt different this evening.

Still beautiful ...

Still enlightening ...

Still empowering.

There were bats flying but I was not able to catch them in my pictures.
And believe me ...
I took about 50 pictures trying to catch them.

I did, however, catch them in a video that I made.
My first moon video ...
made months ago ...
wouldn't stay in focus.
This one did.

I wish you many blessings ...
and hope ...
and love.

Thank You For Sharing In Our Luna Delight!

May you have a month full of blessings!
