A restless spirit … A walk into the night,
When life is swirling … The moon feels right.
There’s your shadow … Your day time friend,
And today you’ve seen it … without end.
The moon sends down its soothing light,
You feel its strength, power and might.
You see it shining up above,
You feel its peace, grace and love.
You can see all around you with its light,
Everything around you bathed in white.
In its soothing light you can meditate,
On the best tomorrow you can make.
As you look upward and feel its caress,
As it reaches in and removes your stress.
It lingers on you and talks to your spirit,
And as it lingers … you can hear it …
Saying “You’ve got this” … “Things will be okay”,
“The sun will rise and bring a brand new day”.
“And I’ll be back in my many forms”,
“When you wish in moonlight to be adorned”.
My love … my friend … my shining moon,
My peaceful, graceful, glorious moon.
